It depends.
We currently offer 3 options for automatically filtering your meal plans. You can select either vegetarian, gluten free, or dairy free meal plans. Unfortunately, you can only select one of these options at a time.
To change your preference, navigate in the myDNA Unlocked app to Me > My Goals > Dietary Preferences and select your preferred option. This will automatically filter the meals which are selected for your personalized meal plan. All meals will still be tuned to your DNA, with the perfect balance of calories and macronutrients.
Unfortunately, we do not currently have the ability to filter meals based on distaste or non-preference for certain ingredients or foods. However, you are always welcome to swap meals out from your plan by tapping the “CHANGE” button on the right of the meal you wish to swap. This will replace that meal with another DNA-powered and scientifically calculated meal.
Our database of thousands of recipes includes recipes that should suit any dietary preference. We would also recommend using the explore tab of the app to find meals you enjoy and adding them to your “Favorites” so you can refer to them later. The explore tab also offers a dietary type filter for meals as well as the ability to filter by category (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner).
We cannot currently filter for common allergen foods like nuts, so please always check the ingredients and method of a recipe before cooking/consuming.
