Once you've collected your DNA sample (by swabbing for cheek cells) you need to activate it by verifying your unique barcode.
- If you've already registered for the monthly subscription then you can activate your sample inside the myDNA Unlocked app. Once your Collection Kit has been sent to you, there will be a post at the top of your home feed asking for your unique barcode (see screenshot below).
- If you've received or purchased a DNA Collection Kit for the monthly subscription (EG from a Pharmacy or as a myDNA Partner) then you can activate your sample during registration. Simply select 'I HAVE A KIT' when asked if you have a DNA collection kit, and verify using your unique barcode (see below).
